The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics was founded by a decision of the National Assembly of Republic of Srpska on 12/9/96. The history of the Faculty dates from the 50s of the last century when there was a Pedagogical academy as a base for a group of natural and social sciences subjects. After Pedagogical academy a Faculty of Philosophy was founded and finally in the 90s our Faculty. Faculty is assigned a building in the Mladen Stojanovic Street andmore than 650 students were enrolled. Classes began on October 7, 1996. Deans were full professors Zdravko Marijanac and Rajko Gnjato. Current dean is Goran Trbic, full professor.
